Val is passionate about art and paints every day in her studio in Te Atatu Peninsula. She enjoys the painting of gardens, landscapes and portraits. She paints in water colour, acrylic, oils and pastels and has won several awards which includes The Premier Art Award Estuary Arts in 2018, Waitakere Arts Exhibition 2018 (Landscape Merit Certificate) to name but a few. Everyday opens her eyes to something new and exciting to paint which she transfers to canvas. She loves painting landscapes form her travels around New Zealand and overseas.
