Stefanie has lived in Piha for more than 25 years. The main focus of her art is realistic oil paintings of coastal scenes but she explores other media to create iconic Piha and local West Coast artworks. In each case, her paintings are inspired by the landscape itself and the clear light in this part of the world. Apart from some workshop style courses, Stefanie is mostly self- taught and works full time as a Photo lithographer in the graphics prepress trade. She enjoys water sports, craft, hiking and travel. Stefanie’s paintings are held in local and overseas collections.
