Ruby lives in Karekare and is a sustainable accessory artist established in 2014. She trained in Art and Design in the UK in 2009, specialising in textiles. Her work today has evolved to meet today’s needs with a focus on providing sophisticated and elegant designs with sustainable practice. Careful selection and merging of reclaimed leather with vintage fabric and detailed finishing are signature of her work and design philosophy. Her popular work that includes beautiful leather and fabric bags, purses, leather card holders and wallets have featured in a number of boutique UK shops and is now based and available in New Zealand.
